Hand Embroidery satin work

Beautiful hand Embroidery work done by aari Embroidery certificate course student Mrs. Poornima. Her work is neat and elegant. Mostly satin stitch and running stitches are used to do this work.

Running stitch is used for outlining the elements of the design. Satin work is used to create shading or to fill in a design part.

Satin stitch can be padded for a 3 dimensional appearance. Satin stitch are first worked inside the shape , and covered with a layer of satin stitch. To raise the stitching, split stitch just inside the outline of the shape before stating

Satin stitches are used for solid filling for shapes, it’s very good to do in monograms.
